Yes i do delete them. e - just copying all the itunes folders onto a external hard drive and then plugging it into the new laptop? I have never extracting files if its not needed for setup. for example only one file its needed IO rather open it from the arcive into memory and make setup and keeping archived file only, not extracted one.
