As you eliminate more and more balloons, you get money which you can use to upgrade your towers.
Each upgrade offers it specific enhancements such as an increased range, attack speed, damage or imbues it with various attack modifiers that slow or freeze balloons.
Though a simple looking game, Bloons Tower Defense has its fair share of diversity and combinations that you can create with the available towers. Additionally if you feel that the game game is easy, you can choose from maps with different layouts and have tougher mobs running around. To sum things up, Bloons Tower Defense is a really nice and entertaining game.
